Archaeology and Palaeontology Consultations
As well as preserving and managing the archaeological and palaeontological heritage, Gordailua also provides members of the public and scientists services to allow access to the collections. These services are governed by Basque Government Decree 341/1999.
Consultations
The items in the collections are available to for consultation by specialist researchers. There is a special consultation room for analysing materials, fitted with a binocular microscope and photo table.
Visits are by prior appointment only.
Loans
With a view to sharing its archaeological and palaeontological heritage, the centre makes materials available to public and private organisation for temporary exhibitions. Please send all applications to the Basque Government's Heritage Department (Departamento de Patrimonio del Gobierno Vasco).
