Katixa Agirre (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1981). In 2007, she published Sua falta zaigu, a collection of short stories that encouraged her writing. In 2009, she published the collection of stories Habitat, with the help of the Igartza Grant. She has also published some works in children’s and youth literature: Paularen seigarren atzamarra (2007), Ez naiz sirena bat, eta zer? (2009) and Patzikuren problemak (2010) and the novel series Amaia Lapitz (2010, 2013, 2021). In 2015 he published his first novel, Atertu arte itxaron, with the help of the Agustin Zubikarai grant. In addition to the 111 Akademia award, the novel was translated into several languages. In 2018 he published his latest novel, Amek ez dute, which has been translated into seven languages ​​and is currently being adapted for film.
