Better access for all
Accessibility means providing access to information with no restrictions arising from impairment, disability or handicap. Many people access the information on our pages in very different circumstances.
- They may have hearing, vision or mobility problems.
- They may experience reading or comprehension difficulties.
- They may not be able to use the keyboard or mouse.
- They may have a text-only reader, a small screen, or a slow connection.
- Etc.
Accessibility is of interest not only to people with disabilities. It also improves access to the website in general.
Our accessibility guidelines are as follows:
- Compliance with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) as established in the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) protocol, to at least level A and part of levels AA and AAA. These standards have worldwide validity and are officially recognised as an Internet standard by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium).
- Verification of compliance with the above guidelines via the Web Accessibility Test — Test de Accesibilidad Web (TAW). TAW is a tool created by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in accordance with the provisions of the Spanish Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce Act.
Naturally, we know that the accessibility of this portal can be improved and we are working to do so. To this end, we invite you to submit any suggestions you may have.
