REGISTRATIONS

 

This new international conference aims to update archaeological knowledge about Roman ports, based on research that is underway and a deeper look at the operation of these infrastructures and their location with regard to land communication, the construction of facilities and aspects related to port organisation and management in antiquity. The final objective is no less than to obtain a complete picture of the currently available archaeological finds associated with Roman ports.
The conference will be held in Irun, a few metres from the first Roman port to be found on the Iberian Peninsula. In order to participate in the conference, two modalities have been provided: in-person and online.


In-person Registration

 

In-person registration includes the right to accreditation and in-person attendance at the conference, coffees and lunch at the conference location, as well as everything included in online registration. The cost is €160.

Safety and hygiene measures – COVID 19

 

Online Registration


Online registration includes: virtual attendance to the conference via streaming of all content, the chance to ask questions to the members of round tables, downloads of the speakers’ presentations and the Official Minutes, and a certificate of online attendance. The cost is € 30.

 

Special Conditions


The following special conditions are established, whether for in-person or online registration:

  • Media professionals: Free
  • * Students and unemployed professionals.
    • In person: €40 (not including lunch). Limited capacity
    • Online: €20 

(*) Students and unemployed professionals must inform the organisers of their status. In order to obtain said discounts, the interested parties must provide:

  • Students: copy of matriculation for the current academic year (degree, masters or PhD studies).
  • Unemployed professionals: document issued by the employment office.
     

Final Date for Registration


The final dates for registration will depend on the chosen participation modality:

  • In-person Registration: Registration will be closed when capacity is reached, but before 31 October 2021 regardless.
  • Online registration: 31 October 2021

 

Cancellation Policy


Cancellations must be communicated in writing to the Technical Secretariat of the Conference: secretariaentremares@gmail.com
 

In-person Registration:

 

  • 2021eko Until 15 october 2021 (inclusive): No cost
  • From 15 October to 31 October 2021 (inclusive): 50% of the registration cost
  • From 31 October 2021: 100% of the registration cost

 

Online registration: No cancellations available.
