ANTONIO PIZZO

 

Hi is a researcher at the CSIC (Spanish National Research Council) and director of the Escuela Española de Historia y Arqueología en Roma-CSIC -CSIC. He is an specialist in Roman architecture, archaeology of architecture and construction, and town planning and he currently runs various research projects in Spain (Roman domestic architecture) and in Italy (Tusculum Project and Archaeological excavations at the EEHAR). He has published monographs and articles about Roman construction techniques, construction materials, Roman building organisation and management and town planning. He is one of the editors of the Arqueología de la Construccion Series published in Anejos of Archivo Español de Arqueología and a member of editorial boards for several international journals.
