Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain, 1980. PhD in Psychology from the University of Deusto (Bilbao), where she also graduated in Psychology in 2002. Currently Director of Benefits and Inclusion at Lanbide - Basque Employment Service.
Career civil servant in the Social Services of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, since 2008.
Between 2015 and 2021, Director of Social Policies at the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council.
Training and previous professional career focused on psychological support and accompaniment for people who face traumatic situations, especially women who face violence in their partner relationships, combining intervention, research and teaching in this field. Psychologist at the Clara Campoamor Association and the Álava Crime Victim Assistance Service between 2004 and 2008.
Daughter of Fernando Buesa, assassinated by ETA on February 22, 2000. Vice President of the Fernando Buesa Blanco Foundation.

Journalist and PhD in Communication from the University of Navarra, where she teaches at the Faculty of Communication. His investigation is focused on terrorism, with special attention to the victims. She is the co-author, among other titles, of Lead Stories.
